You can extend the life and enjoyment of your model train for many, many years by establishing a sensible maintenance schedule and by using Bachmann's premium-grade lubricants that have a specific purpose designed to provide that care and maintenance of your model train of any scale.   Each lubricant has a specific purpose.

The light gear oil is for use on all shafts, bushings, gears, and bolsters.   This oil is non-shedding and will not "sling off".   Use the heavy gear oil, which is formulated for use on motor bushings, bearings, valve gear, side rods, and draft gear boxes, when you run your model train for an extended period of time.   Heavy Duty Gear Grease is best for Large Scale applications requiring a heavier viscous material.   To provide superior motor maintainance and track cleaning, the conductive contact lube is the model railroaders choice.
